Kelly Mahler, OTD, OTR/L
Kelly Mahler is a curiosity-driven, Corgi-cuddling, award-winning occupational therapist and author who loves diving into the unique experiences of others—so much so that her husband lovingly calls her “The Interviewer.” Whether she’s learning about someone’s inner world or exploring the science of interoception, Kelly brings an endless sense of curiosity to everything she does.
For 22 years, Kelly has helped school-aged kids and adults connect with their body signals, making interoception fun, accessible, and empowering. She holds a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Misericordia University and has earned awards like the 2020 American Occupational Therapy Association Emerging and Innovative Practice Award and a Mom’s Choice Gold Medal. She’s also the proud author of twelve resources that inspire people to better understand themselves, including The Interoception Curriculum--used in over 30 countries world-wide
Kelly enjoys presenting globally on topics related to interoception, neurodiversity-affirming practices, and helping people connect with their inner worlds through curiosity, validation and empathy.
