This eight-module video course series helps you understand how kids think, feel, and behave by addressing distinct topics related to neurodiversity and child development. Every module includes two videos: a Big Talk for adults (qualifying for continuing education credit) and a kid-friendly Little Talk that can be shown directly to children or used as a guide for explaining these concepts to children in your own words.

Every course listing on Think Sensory clearly identifies what type of continuing education it offers.
If a course is approved by a specific accrediting body like AOTA, ASHA, or ASWB, you will see that organization’s official logo and approval statement directly on the course listing page, along with the activity approval ID number.
If you do not see a specific organization’s logo or approval statement on the course listing, the course offers general CEUs. General CEU courses are professional development activities that have not been submitted to or approved by a specific accrediting body.
It is your responsibility as the learner to verify with your employer or licensing board whether general CEUs meet the continuing education requirements for your specific situation, geographic location, or credential.
To earn CEUs, you must complete all of the following: view all required video content in its entirety, pass the post-activity learning outcome assessment with a score of 80% or higher, and complete the post-activity evaluation.
Partial credit is not available. You must complete all requirements to receive CEUs and a certificate of completion.
The specific number of CEUs and contact hours available for each course is listed on the course page.
If you do not achieve a passing score of 80% on the learning outcome assessment, you can retake it. There is no limit on the number of retake attempts.
No. Think Sensory does not offer partial credit for any CEU-eligible course. You will receive the full CEU value upon satisfactory completion of all requirements.
That depends on your specific situation. If the course is approved by a specific accrediting body (like AOTA), and your licensing board or employer accepts CEUs from that body, then yes.
If the course offers general CEUs, it is up to you to verify with your employer or licensing board whether it meets your requirements.
Many professionals outside of the United States are able to use general CEU certificates for continuing education without issue, as CE requirements in many countries are managed by the individual practitioner rather than a centralized accrediting body.
When in doubt, check with your licensing board or employer before purchasing.
You may request a full refund within 10 calendar days of purchase, as long as you have not accessed any course content. Once any course content has been accessed, the purchase is non-refundable. To request a cancellation, email ce@thinksensory.com. Full details are available in our Terms of Service.
Courses are available for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Your certificate of completion is generated automatically through the learning management system once you have met all completion requirements (viewed all video content, passed the assessment at 80% or higher, and completed the evaluation). You will be able to download your certificate directly from the course page after completion.
You can re-download your certificate of completion from the course page after completion. If you no longer have access to the course materials, you can request a copy of your CE records or a replacement certificate at any time by contacting us through the CE department at ce@thinksensory.com. Replacement certificates and record copies are provided at no charge. We retain all CE learner records for a minimum of 7 years.
Think Sensory will not release your CE records to any third party without your prior written consent. If a third party such as an employer or licensing board requests your records, we will contact you and obtain written authorization before releasing anything. The only exception is that AOTA may request access to records as part of their Approved Provider Program compliance review process, which is a condition of participation in the program.
Contact us at ce@thinksensory.com before starting the course and let us know what you need. All of our video content includes closed captions and transcripts. We are happy to work with you on additional accommodations.
A general CEU is a continuing education unit awarded for a professional development activity that has not been submitted to or approved by a specific accrediting body like AOTA, ASHA, or ASWB. The course content still meets professional development standards, and you will still receive a certificate of completion with contact hours. Whether your employer or licensing board accepts general CEUs depends on their specific policies. Many employers and licensing boards do accept general CEU certificates for professional development credit.
